Celeste N. Silsby Mannerud
Design, Photography, Videography
Celeste is co-founder of Flip Flop Productions and specializes in design and archival for theatrical and private events. She received her BA in Theatre Design from USF and her MFA in Media Design Management from IADT, and her repertoire includes: technical/artistic design in Germany for ArtLab Studios; production management for L’Unione Italiana Ybor City’s annual Festa Italiana; lighting design for various local and international dance companies; architectural photography for HOK, Inc.; and custom ceremonies, officiating, design, and archival for weddings in the U.S. and Norway.
In addition, Celeste has researched and designed for many workshop and crossover pieces from the first American production of David Gieselmann's 'Eine amerikanische Hand' and Gerlind Reinshagen's 'Leben und Tod der Marilyn Monroe' to the theatrical premier of Carl Hiassen's 'Lucky You', and she hopes to one day finish the book she started writing on creating environments through light and shadow.
Aside from her “real job”, Celeste is halfway through a never-ending home renovation and is most at peace when under sail with her husband, Andreas, and son, Cobyn.
Tom Andreas Mannerud
Multimedia Programming, Videography
Andreas is co-founder of Flip Flop Productions. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida, with special interest in educational technology, electronic commerce, digital multimedia, and information security. He is a computer technology solutions specialist with more than fifteen years experience in the computer technology field and holds numerous professional certifications ranging from Certified Internet Business Strategist to Certified Internet Webmaster. In addition to taking care of our information technology needs and keeping Celeste grounded, he is our digital multimedia specialist.
Maria E.J. Frias
Event Management, Paper Crafts Design
Maria specializes in event management/coordination and paper crafts (invitations, posters, mailers, etc) for Flip Flop Productions. Her experience includes working for various organizations and on numerous productions in the professional, university and community settings, in addition to running her own custom crafts company, Pocketful of Sunshine. Maria's repertoire includes event management and technical support for local favorites such as the University of South Florida's College of Visual & Performing Arts, Moving Current Dance Collective, L'Unione Italiana, and Opera Tampa. She has worked with numerous artists including Maria Capitano, Erin Cardinal, Anton Coppola, Dorothy Danner, Michael Foley, Carolina Garcia, Cynthia Hennessy, James Earl Jones, John Parks, Sandra Robinson, Jennifer Salk, Jeanne Travers, Elsa Valbuena, Gretchen Ward Warren and Lynne Wimmer.
